Data correction

Request the correction of inaccurate data relating to your registrations or qualifications.

What is it

The request for rectification allows you to ask the higher education institutions of which you are a student or former student to correct inaccurate information relating to your academic record that you may detect by consulting the reserved area of the ANIS portal. The inaccuracies may concern one or more of the data displayed.

When it is needed

This service allows you to keep your academic records up to date and to standardise them at source. The information in the ANIS database, in fact, comes from the institutions you attend or have attended, which will directly receive and take care of your request for rectification.

How to apply

Access the reserved area of the ANIS portal with an Italian digital identity of your choice between SPID and CIE or, when available, with eIDAS login for European citizens. The Your Desk page summarises information on your higher education background, organised by enrolment and academic qualifications. You can request the correction of any inaccuracies in your enrolment or degree data by selecting the 'Submit a correction request' link on the relevant detail page. To submit your request, simply fill in a pre-set form. You will receive notifications regarding the status of your request directly to the email address saved in your personal profile.
